The purpose of this blog is to get out all the crazy thoughts in my head that no one wants to listen to. I process my thoughts best by discussing them and working through them one at a time, so you, the reader, are going to be treated to a view inside my brain. Probably not a pretty sight.
So; truthiness...
My search for truthiness or "What the heck is going on" began several months ago, maybe even a year or two ago when I began to realize that the world that I believed existed clearly did not. I began to question everything. I think that this is a normal phase of every person's existence, but I am taking it probably more seriously than most people I think. If my style of writing bothers you, go read somewhere else. When Nicole and I got married we decided that we would not get cable. This decision was because of a few reasons, but mainly because I don't like all the crap on TV. I hate watching comedy and hearing non-stop cussing, or watching a prime-time television show and then being exposed to the latest commercial for "Girls Gone Wild". I don't like the fact that all girls on TV dress scantily and they all look the same. I don't want my kids dealing with those psychological issues. I also didn't want TV because it becomes an excuse for boredom. You don't have anything to do, so you go turn on the tele. Next thing you know you're 2 hours dumber and have accomplished nothing. I recently learned that watching any screen for multiple hours a day causes depression. Not surprising at all.
Anyway, this decision changed my entire view of the world. You see once I unplugged my brain from the tube and endless brainwashing I noticed something... I actually had a desire to learn and improve myself! Once I allowed myself to stop being entertained I started to use my brain. It was amazing.
I also began to notice some things. First I noticed that CNN was always very liberal. Always. I noticed that FOX was ALWAYS very conservative. Then I noticed that their reporting wasn't spread evenly among world events, but was focused very specifically on certain things like the president, the war, and celebrities. Almost nothing else (comparatively). Ok? you ask sarcastically... What is so special? Then it occurred to me that "of course!" they report to make money. The articles they pick are chosen for 2 reasons. 1) $$$ and 2) Power. The agencies are owned by very powerful media moguls who have a very specific agenda for what gets published and what doesn't. I learned this was fact when I found numerous websites and agencies dedicated to reporting all the news that gets ignored by the main 2.
This was my beginning down the path of conspiracy.
Now, before you dismiss me as a nut, let me first ask you: Are you a sheep? Do you believe what you're told without checking it out? If it is reported by the news does that make it true? Are you unwilling to accept that there are people who want to control the world and they want to do this through a one world government? That they think that they can do a better job than the "people" and that the "people" shouldn't have the right to govern themselves? Is it too hard to believe that these people control TV and the news? Is propaganda something that is only used in times of war or is it a tool that every government uses to influence the minds of its people?
I began to ask such questions. I had to find answers. What I found was more than I could possibly even conceptualize and handle at the time.
I encourage you all to begin to search for yourself. You might start with a good understanding of how our economy works and what the not-so-federal "Federal Reserve" actually is and does. Why are we in a recession? Is it a coincidence that everyone hate GW? Coincidence that the economy is so bad right before the election? Why are we still in Iraq? Really. Why are we about to go to war with Iran? Why does Israel so desperately want to attack Iran? You don't believe me? Just check it out...

Very astute and thought provoking...
My husband and I have discussions on many of these topics often.
